Made for Duo is a small independent website, run from the Netherlands, that tracks which apps are updated for iPhone Duo. This page explains what data the site handles and why. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What you submit

When you add an app or report a change, we store what you enter: the App Store link, how the app uses the screen, your notes, your name if you fill it in, and any screenshots you upload. All of this is published on the site for everyone to see. Don't include personal information in notes or screenshots, such as messages, email addresses or photos of people.

Submissions stay on the site until they are removed. Want something you submitted taken down? Email [email protected] with the app name and we'll remove it.

Technical data

To prevent spam and count page views, the server briefly uses your IP address in memory, for at most a few hours. It is not written to the database. Your browser also remembers, for the current session only, which app pages you have already viewed, so a view isn't counted twice.

The site runs behind Cloudflare, which handles the connection and protects against attacks. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address for this. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you.

Ads and cookies

To cover hosting costs, the site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads, measure them, and, if you agree, personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and can change their choice at any time through the privacy settings link shown by Google on the page.

Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services, or turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Email [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Back to the site.
