App Store description
OnTrack shows live UK train departures for the journeys you make, on a departure board like the ones at the station.
OnTrack starts with where you're going. Save a journey once, such as home to work, and its trains are always one tap away.
YOUR TICKETS TO EVERYWHERE
• Each journey you save is a rail ticket. Pick a ticket to see its trains.
• Name a journey whatever you like, or leave it with the stations' names.
• Choose a symbol for each one, so you can tell them apart at a glance.
• Your first ticket is free. A one-time In-App Purchase unlocks additional tickets, and ten ticket colours taken from train companies' liveries.
EVERY ROUTE ON ONE BOARD
• More than one way to get there? Save several routes to a single ticket.
• Every train you can get is shown as one list, in the order they leave.
• Destinations, platforms, delays and cancellations come from live railway data.
SPOT THE FASTEST TRAIN
• The first train to leave isn't always the first to arrive.
• Each route's fastest train has a lightning bolt before its arrival time.
CHANGES
• No direct train? OnTrack suggests where to change, checked against live times.
• Tap a train to see the whole journey: each train with its platform and times, and when you arrive.
• See the stations a train calls at.
WALKING JOURNEYS
• A route can include the time it takes to walk to the first station, so the board only shows trains you can actually catch.
• A route can end with a walk too, from the last station to wherever you're really going.
SERVICE DISRUPTIONS
• See the service disruptions for a train's journey without leaving the app.
READY FOR IPHONE, IPHONE DUO AND IPAD
• On an iPhone Duo's inner display and on an iPad, departures are in one column and the train you tapped is in the other.
• Works in every orientation.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts, no adverts and no analytics.
• Your journeys are saved on your device and nowhere else.
• Your location is only asked for if a route counts walking time, and only used while the app is open. Say no and everything else still works.
Train times come from the Rail Delivery Group's Darwin real time train information, through the Rail Data Marketplace. OnTrack covers National Rail services in Great Britain.
OnTrack is independent. It isn't run by, or connected with, National Rail or any train company.
